Every year we create a set of themes to develop and trigger story ideas. They’re listed below. Themes give each show a focus. The idea is not to limit stories. Rather the idea is to offer a broad category or grouping into which a story might fit. If you have an idea for a story but are not sure where it might go, get in touch with us. We’ll help you figure it out.
All Shows run from 7 to 8:15 pm with “doors” opening at 6:50 pm. Free Zoom Storytelling Workshops are held on the first Tuesday of most months from 7 to 8:30 pm (in November the workshop is on the second Tuesday so it will not interfere with voting day).

Storytellers Sought for True Tales Live 2024
True Tales Live will continue on Zoom for most of 2024. Shows are on the last Tuesday of most months at 7:00pm.
Do you have a story to tell? Your story should tie into one of our themes. In order for it to be “your true story” you need to have participated in it. Not sure you’re ready? Attend one of our upcoming workshops, held the first Tuesday of most months, 7-8:30pm. Workshops are for practicing our stories and receiving thoughtful and constructive feedback.
