Every year we create a set of themes to develop and trigger story ideas. They’re listed below. Themes give each show a focus. The idea is not to limit stories. Rather the idea is to offer a broad category or grouping into which a story might fit. If you have an idea for a story but are not sure where it might go be in touch. We’ll help you figure it out.
All Shows run from 7 to 8:15 pm with “doors” opening at 6:50 pm. Free Zoom Storytelling Workshops are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 pm. (the only exception is November when the Workshop is held on the second Tuesday of November so it will not interfere with any voting day.
BELOW: See our video with the upcoming themes for 2022!
Note that we have two Open Theme nights. If you feel your story doesn’t fit anywhere else, our Open Theme nights are always an option. To sign up to tell a story contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you want to register as an audience member for any ZOOM show in 2022 you can do that here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcpfuqtrToiH9aUEzXouDOW7ZsNCmCKgaKM
In 2021 we debuted a new type of show – “Featured Teller.” One storyteller chosen from past TTL shows filled in the hour with a few of their favorite tales followed by an in-depth interview. That will continue in 2022 for our February and June programs.
Thank you so much for your support because without storytellers and without an audience, there would not be True Tales Live about to begin its 6th year on public media in the Seacoast of New Hampshire.
