Mission. Our mission at True Tales Live is to provide individuals with an encouraging space in which to tell their first-person stories, stories that reflect our community’s personal and cultural diversity. We do this through TV [PPMtv], on-stage performance, radio, and public venues. And to encourage folks to try their hand at storytelling we offer workshops in the art and practice of storytelling.
Vision. We believe that first-person storytelling, precisely because it is personal, helps build a sense of community among individuals from different backgrounds who have a variety of life-experiences. And we believe that creating community is something we deeply need in these times. Our goal is to help people bridge differences and build understanding and respect for all. That is our mission, vision, and goal.
